Ingredients

5 fresh Blackberries
1 1/2 oz Vodka
5/6 oz Lime juice
2/3 oz Crème de cassis
1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a double old-fashioned

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a DOUBLE OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of blackberry.

Method

  1. 3 MUDDLE blackberries in base of shaker.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients and SHAKE with ice.
  3. 5 FINE STRAIN into glass filled with crushed ice.

Garnish

  1. 6 Garnish with blackberry sat heroically atop crushed ice summit. (It survived the muddler to reach its peak.)
  2. 7 Serve with a straw.
