Ingredients
2 oz Cognac (brandy)
2 oz Boiling water
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
How to make
Serve in a snifter/brandy balloon glass
- 1 POUR cognac into a warmed glass and rest the bowl of the glass on an old-fashioned glass so it lies on its side supported by the rim
- 2 FLAME the cognac and carefully move the glass back to an upright position sitting normally on your work surface
- 3 POUR in hot water (this will extinguish any remaining flame) and sugar
- 4 Stir, garnish and serve.
