Ingredients
3 1/2 oz Soda water
1 1/2 oz Red quinquina e.g. Dubonnet, Byrrh
3/4 oz Crème de cassis
How to make
Serve in a collins glass
- 1 POUR all ingredients into ice-filled glass in the following order and lightly stir.

History
Berry and red wine flavours lengthened with sparkling water.
This cocktail is derived from a recipe found in Harry Craddock's 1930 publication, The Savoy Cocktail Book. The original instructions are as follows: "BYRRH COCKTAIL. 1/3 French Vermouth. 1/3 Canadian Club Whisky. 1/3 Byrrh. Shake well and strain into chilled cocktail."
