Ingredients

1/3 oz Absinthe
1 oz Tennessee whiskey
1 oz Honey herbal liqueur
2 dash Creole bitters
2 dash Aromatic bitters

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 POUR absinthe into ice-filled glass, TOP with water and set aside.
  2. 4 Separately, STIR whiskey, liqueur and bitters with ice.
  3. 5 DISCARD contents of glass (absinthe, water and ice).
  4. 6 STRAIN stirred cocktail into absinthe-coated glass (no ice in glass).

Garnish

  1. 7 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and discard.
