History
This is a fruity, bittersweet apéritif characterized by "orchard fruit, citrus and bittersweet gentian sipped through a sarsaparilla-like layer of Peychaud's Bitters."
This drink is an adaptation of a recipe created in 2017 by Taoufike Zrafi at Taology in Montreal, Canada. Taoufike Zrafi stated, "I was basically trying to work on a low-proof cobbler-style cocktail that really puts the flavor of Suze on the forefront of the flavor profiles. I went towards using only southern French ingredients and whilst tasting it behind the bar a guest asked me to try it, as soon as he did, he ordered one right away and demanded for it to be on the menu for next time he's going to come in. Enjoy this drink while you're castle hopping in your next trip to southern France!"
