- 2 Strain into chilled glass.

History
Gin served chilled and neat, with melting ice providing dilution. A notable drink, if not a great cocktail.
According to legend, Sir Winston Churchill preferred his Martinis prepared by merely having the vermouth in the same room, rather than mixed into the drink itself. He is famously quoted for stating: "Glance at the vermouth bottle briefly while pouring the juniper distillate freely."
