Ingredients
3 Unspecified
2 oz Old Tom gin
1 oz Lemon juice
1/2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
Top up with Soda from siphon
How to make
Serve in a fizz or highball (8oz to 10oz)
- 1 MUDDLE strawberries in base of shaker
- 2 Add other ingredients apart from soda, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into chilled glass (without ice)
- 3 TOP with soda.
History
Fruity and all too easy to drink. Consume while cold, as the lack of ice in this tall drink requires it. Drink responsibly.
Around 1880, this variation on the Gin Fizz was invented at the St. Nicholas Hotel in New York City.
