Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
1 oz Mastiha liqueur
1/6 oz Peated malt whisky
1 oz Birch water
8 drop Liquorice bitters

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare mint leaf for garnish.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with mint leaf.

Inspired by Greek drinks writers Denny Kallivoka and Eleni Nikoloulia, this whisky cocktail uses a good measure of mastiha and birch water, finishing with liquorice and Islay whisky.
