Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Light white rum
1/2 oz Mastiha liqueur
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 oz Birch water
1/3 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Garnish with lime wedge.

Daiquiris are refreshing, but this mastiha and birch water influenced example is particularly so.

The name of this cocktail was inspired by the character Eccentrica Gallumbits from Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
