History
Gin is fortified with grapefruit and sweet vermouth for a delicately flavoured, bittersweet drink.
David A. Embury's 1948 book, The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks, provided the basis for this recipe. The FIBBER McGEE is a variation on the Sweet Martini. It incorporates a dash of Angostura bitters and approximately 2 teaspoons of grapefruit juice per serving.
