1 oz Lime juice
3/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
2 dash Absinthe
3/4 oz Soda water

Serve in a collins glass

- 1 Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of lime wedge.

- 3 SHAKE first 5 ingredients with ice.
- 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
- 5 TOP with soda.

This cocktail appeared in an article titled "The Golden Cocktail Mile," published in conjunction with the 2013 release of the science fiction film World's End. It is named after the first establishment visited on the pub crawl undertaken by Simon Peg and his companions in the movie. The drink was created in 2013 by Alastair Walker, who was then associated with The Everleigh in Melbourne, Australia.
