1 oz Rosso/sweet vermouth
1 oz Chamberyzette aperitif
1 oz Tawny port
1 oz Red bitter liqueur

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of Luxardo Maraschino Cherry or strawberry.
  3. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

This deep cherry red Negroni-like aperitivo is tasty shaken or stirred. Originally made shaken, like a Shakerato. Shaken versions need a white head; consume before it fades. Sweet vermouth/port predominates, balanced by bitter liqueur.
