History
Rum's power, grapefruit's tartness, and maple syrup's depth, all perfumed by bitters.
This is a personal rendition of a vintage cocktail originally created by Herb Smith and popularized by his friend Oscar at the Waldorf in New York City. The drink was named to honor the Duke of Windsor and his bride, Wallis Warfield Simpson. The four 'W's signify Wallis Warfield Windsor Wallop.
