Flavour profile

History

Fresh, clean, sophisticated – dangerously quaffable. The use of powdered sugar adds an attractive sherbet note. Sugar syrup also works well, use 7.5ml/0.25oz in place of sugar.

Before the 1980s or 1990s, the French 75 was served as a long cocktail in a Collins glass filled with ice. This presentation in a flute has become the standard, while the Collins version is now largely forgotten.
