History
Salmon-pink with abundant froth, offering surprising complexity and flavour.
Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book offers a version of this drink. His "FROTH BLOWER COCKTAIL" lists the following ingredients: the white of 1 egg, 1 teaspoon grenadine, and 1 glass of Plymouth gin. The preparation instructions are to shake well and strain into a port wine glass.
