Ingredients

1 3/4 oz Scotch whisky
1 1/4 oz Sauvignon Blanc wine
1 oz Apple juice
1/2 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1/4 oz Lemon juice

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of apple wedge.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with apple wedge on rim.

The staff at London's GE Club collaborated on this cocktail in January 2002. A waitress named Linda, who is blonde, provided the name, stating it was inspired by the drink's straw-like hue.
