History
Zesty citrus with rum and a subtle cognac richness.
In his book, The Fine Art Of Mixing Drinks, David Embury characterizes the Grand Slam as a Manhattan to which 1 or 2 teaspoons of lime juice and 2 or 3 dashes of curacao are added to each drink. This version should be stirred. Another cocktail also known as the Grand Slam contains 1 part grenadine and curaçao (mixed half and half), 2 parts lemon juice, and 8 parts white label rum.
