Ingredients

1/6 oz Chartreuse Green
1 1/2 oz Cognac (brandy)
1/2 oz Single malt Scotch whisky
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
3 dash Creole bitters
2 dash Aromatic bitters

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 POUR Chartreuse into glass and twirl to coat inside with liqueur.
  2. 4 Fill glass with ice and set aside.
  3. 5 Separately, STIR other ingredients with ice in mixing glass.
  4. 6 DISCARD contents of glass (Chartreuse and ice).
  5. 7 FILL Chartreuse-coated glass with fresh ice and STRAIN contents of mixing glass.

Garnish

  1. 8 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
