1 oz Light gold rum 1-3yo
1 oz Apricot liqueur
1 oz Lime juice
1/3 oz Chilled water

Serve in a coupe glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of apricot wedge or dried apricot half.

- 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History
Resembles an apricot Daiquiri, lime-heavy yet balanced.
Tom Bullock included this drink in his 1917 book, The Ideal Bartender, where it is called the Leaping Frog. The original recipe is as follows: LEAPING FROG 1 jigger Hungarian Apricot Brandy. Juice of ½ Lime. Fill glass with Lump Ice. Shake well and strain into Stem glass.
