1/2 oz Lime juice
1/4 oz Grenadine syrup
2 2/3 oz Soda water

How to make

Serve in a highball (max 10oz/300ml)

  1. 1 POUR all ingredients into ice-filled glass
  2. 2 STIR briefly and TOP with soda.

The Hugo Rickey, named for its creator, Hugo R. Ensslin, was first published in his 1916-17 book, Recipes for Mixed Drinks. HUGO RICKEY Prepared identically to a Gin Rickey, with the addition of 2 dashes of Grenadine and 1 slice of pineapple.
