Ingredients

3/4 oz Scotch whisky
3/4 oz Ferro China
3/4 oz Rosso/sweet vermouth
3/4 oz Orange juice

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History

This dark, bittersweet aperitivo also works well served on the rocks in an old-fashioned glass. It is a riff on the classic Blood & Sand, made distinctive by the use of Ferro China.
