Ingredients

1/2 oz Bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz Chartreuse Green
1/2 oz Orange-red aperitivo
1/2 oz Lemon juice

How to make

Serve in a nick & nora glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of paper plane.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Garnish with miniature paper plane skewered or pegged to rim (&/or lemon zest twist).

History

This boozy cocktail is a cross between a Last Word and Paper Plane.

This recipe derives from an original creation made in January 2018 by Callum Rixson, who serves as General Manager at Hideout in Bath, England. For his initial recipe, Callum utilized Wild Turkey 101 as the bourbon. He explained that this cocktail was developed for "one of our old locals who was moving to Toronto, and he still drinks it in his local bar." Callum's aim was to devise a beverage that could be requested and reproduced almost universally.
