Flavour profile

History

A Daiquiri freshened with mint and cucumber, lengthened with soda.

This cocktail, created by Tom Walker at The American Bar, Savoy Hotel, London, England, won the British Bacardí Legacy 2014. Tom Walker subsequently won the 2014 Bacardí Legacy Global Final with this drink. While the Daiquiri and Mojito have their roots in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the 'Maid' category emerged from an American style of drink creation, the 21st century needed its own contribution.
