This drink is adapted from a 2021 recipe by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails. It draws inspiration from the Champs-Élysées and is named "after Marigny Square, which stands on the Champs-Élysées in Paris. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn famously watched a puppet show there in Charade (the 1963 film)."
