Mint Julep (Mexican Style)

Ingredients
1 fresh Lemon peel
8 fresh Mint leaves
1 oz Cognac (brandy)
1 oz Tawny port
1/4 oz Maraschino liqueur
How to make
Serve in a old-fashioned glass
- 1 PLACE lemon zest and mint in shaker
- 2 Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice and fine strain into ice-filled glass.
History
Mint, cognac, port, lemon and maraschino subtly contribute to this Cuban take on Mexico.
