History
A bittersweet, salmon-pink, light, delicate balance of gin, herbs, grapefruit and dry sherry.
This cocktail was created in 2011 by Nick Van Tiel. It is named after the 1969 soul classic by Motown singer-songwriter Stevie Wonder. The song was originally about Wonder's girlfriend while he was attending the Michigan School for the Blind in Lansing, Michigan, and was titled Oh My Marcia. After their breakup, the lyrics and title were changed to 'My Cherie Amour'.
