History

Salmon pink colour. Earthy, smoky complexity comes from mezcal in this bittersweet, citrusy, fresh aperitivo riff. Nakedness can indeed lead to fame!

The Naked & Famous, adapted from a 2011 recipe by Joaquín Simó, is recognized for its early placement at Death & Co. in Manhattan, New York City. Its debut, however, was on the opening lists at Candelaria in Paris and Teardrop Lounge in Portland, Oregon. Joaquín's initial preparation specifies Del Maguey Chichicapa Mezcal. The drink's name draws from the lyrics of "Tricky Kid," a track from Tricky's 1996 album, Pre-Millennium Tension. "And everybody's got a record deal And everybody wants to be naked and famous Everybody's got a record deal And everybody wants to be naked and famous."
