Ingredients
1 1/4 oz Light gold rum 1-3yo
3/4 oz Triple sec
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 1/2 oz Cranberry juice
How to make
Serve in a coupe glass

- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist (flamed).

- 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

- 5 EXPRESS flamed orange zest twist over cocktail, then use as garnish.

A standard Cosmopolitan is made more compelling by a slug of warming Caribbean spirit.
Neal Murray created this drink in 1985 at Fog City Diner in San Francisco, USA. It was added to the menu at BIX, San Francisco in 1988 and was still featured in 2006 when this variation on a Cosmopolitan was first encountered.
