Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Light white rum
1 oz Triple sec
1/2 oz Lime juice
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)
1/4 oz Chilled water

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

A subtle orange twist on a classic Daiquiri.

Tony Conigliaro created this drink in 2001 at Isola in London, England. A patron requested a Daiquiri with a unique twist, and upon tasting it, exclaimed, "Oh Gosh!".
