History
Medium-dry and spirituous, this Old Fashioned is easy to drink and make.
Much like the Martini, this cocktail lends its name to the glass in which it is presented. Its genesis comes from modifying and renaming a comparable beverage, the Whisky Cocktail, which was shaken and served without ice. The identity of the individual responsible for this adaptation and renaming remains undiscovered.
