Ingredients

1 oz Blanche armagnac
1 oz Aromatized wine
1 oz Gentian liqueur
1/12 oz White wine vinegar

How to make

Serve in a nick & nora glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 THROW all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History

A short, lightly bitter aperitif-style cocktail with an attractive golden appearance.

Mattia Lombardi created this recipe in 2019 in Amsterdam. The drink was inspired by the Negroni and the Brandy Alexander, as well as an error he made during his initial bar shift. Mattia states, "The white wine vinegar is a dedication to my colleague and friend Cécile Fayn, as it's her favourite ingredient."
