Ingredients

1 oz Aged Jamaican rum
1 oz Orange Curaçao
1 oz Whipping cream
1/6 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grated nutmeg.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 Dust with freshly grated nutmeg.

This drink is adapted from Harry Craddock's 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book, where it is listed as PARISIAN BLOND COCKTAIL. The recipe calls for equal parts Sweet Cream, Curaçao, and Jamaica Rum, shaken and strained into a cocktail glass.
