- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
Method
- 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
- 4 STRAIN into chilled glass.

History
Gin and dry vermouth balance the rich cassis.
This cocktail was invented in the 1920s as a way to promote crème de cassis. It was later featured in Harry Craddock's 1930 publication, The Savoy Cocktail Book. PARISIAN COCKTAIL. 1/3 French Vermouth. 1/3 Crème de Cassis. 1/3 Gin. Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.
