History

Daiquiri-like, delicately sour and wonderfully aromatic, helped by the garnish.

Leon Back of Panda and Sons in Edinburgh, Scotland, created the British Bacardí Legacy 2018 winning cocktail. The Queen Street Cocktail is, first, a nod to the street where Back works. This Edinburgh street is celebrated globally and has been the location where many industry pioneers have set up shop, leaving a lasting impact on the field. "The Queen Street Cocktail also represents three principals that I went through to become the bartender that I am today: education, collaboration and innovation. Following these principles allowed me to grow as a bartender and they can be applied across all aspects of this industry."
