Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Grappa
2/3 oz Amaro (e.g. Averna)
1/2 oz Mandarin liqueur

How to make

Serve in a old-fashioned glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably over a large cube or chunk of block ice).

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

History

A delicious, stirred grappa-laced aperitif or summertime digestif.

This cocktail was created in 2018 by Andre Tarantino at Collage Cocktail Bar in Barcelona, Spain. Tarantino states that "this cocktail was inspired by the song Remind Me by Patrice Rushen." He prefers Grappa Poli, as it "gives a very sharp feeling to the cocktail."
