1 1/2 oz Mezcal
1/2 oz Maraschino liqueur
3/4 oz Pink grapefruit juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
2 drop Saline solution 4:1

Method

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of float dehydrated lime or blood orange slice wheel.
  3. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  4. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History

A hybrid of the Mezcal Margarita and the Hemingway Special Daiquiri.

This cocktail was introduced by Erik Smith, a fellow Discerning Drinker. The preparation is adapted from a recipe created around 2018 at Toro Bravo restaurant in Portland, Oregon, USA.
