1 oz Gin
1/2 oz Mezcal
1 dash Plum bitters

Serve in a coupe glass
Method
- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 STIR all ingredients with ice.
- 3 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

History
Fruity yet dry, almost earthy, with a delicate smokiness (depending on the mezcal).
This recipe is adapted from a creation in 2022 by J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails. Clapham describes it as "a smokey revival of that Edwardian rarity, now far more widely known, the Zaza. (Named after Rosina Storchio, the lead in the premiere of the opera of Zazà.)"
