Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Light white rum
1 1/2 oz Rosolio Bergamotto

How to make

Serve in a nick & nora glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a NICK & NORA GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of skewered green olives.

Method

  1. 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

  1. 5 Garnish with skewered olives.

History

This cocktail began as an experiment to determine the best path forward for drinks featuring Italicus. The creator wondered whether to add maraschino, curaçao, or bitters. After trying many liqueurs and bitters, the simplicity of this two-ingredient drink was preferred. It was found that this combination also works well with gin, similar to a Gin & It. Later, during the same mixing session, the For Sake's Sake was also created.
