1/2 oz Bourbon whiskey
1/2 oz Rye whiskey 50% abv
1/2 oz Scotch whisky
3/4 oz Amaretto liqueur
1/4 oz Peated malt whisky

- 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of toasted almonds.

History
A quartet of whiskies - bourbon, rye, blended Scotch and Islay single malt - are stirred with amaretto liqueur, which lightly sweetens and flavours the drink. The result is a complex, balanced and lightly nutty after-dinner cocktail. A Madurised Almond Old Fashioned is also worth considering.
