5 Unspecified
2 1/2 oz Vodka
1/6 oz White balsamic
1/2 oz Strawberry sugar syrup

How to make

Serve in a martini glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a MARTINI GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of a fresh strawberry.

Method

  1. 3 MUDDLE strawberries in base of shaker.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients.
  3. 5 SHAKE with ice.
  4. 6 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 7 Garnish with strawberry.

History

Balsamic provides an extra bite to strawberries with vodka.

This cocktail, originally named Strawberry & Balsamic Martini, was created circa 2001 at Che Bar on St James's Street in London. It was popular in London bars during 2002, when it was made with sugar syrup instead of strawberry syrup.
