Ingredients

5 Unspecified
1 1/2 oz Blanco tequila
3/4 oz Triple sec
3/4 oz Lime juice
1/4 oz Sugar syrup 'rich' (2:1)

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of half strawberry.

Method

  1. 3 MUDDLE strawberries in base of shaker.
  2. 4 Add other ingredients, SHAKE with ice.
  3. 5 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass. (You may find the strawberry pulp clogs your fine strainer, so have a spoon handy to clear the mesh to enable the liquid run through.)

Garnish

  1. 6 Garnish with strawberry on rim.

Flavour profile

History

This fruity margarita features fresh strawberries paired with tequila. The strawberries add viscosity, so sugar syrup is recommended over agave syrup, and blanco tequila provides a fresher profile than reposado.
