2/3 oz Bourbon whiskey
2/3 oz Grand Marnier
1/3 oz Aromatized wine
1/3 oz Blanc quinquina/kina
3/4 oz Orange juice
How to make
Serve in a coupe glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.

- 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish
- 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

The Sunray first appeared in William James "Billy" Tarling's 1937 Café Royal Bar Book, where "A. L. Jones" is credited with its invention. J. E. Clapham of Clapham Cocktails brought this drink to attention, suggesting the use of Cocchi Americano to replace the Kina Lillet found in the original 1937 recipe. SUNRAY Invented by A. L.
