History
The original recipe uses 2oz (60ml) of bottled-in-bond straight rye, undiluted. Reducing the whiskey by just 1/3oz (10ml) creates a more approachable, though still spirit-forward, late-night option.
This drink is an adaptation of a 2009 recipe created by Michael Madrusan at Milk & Honey in New York City, USA.
