Ingredients

3/4 oz Rye whiskey 50% abv
3/4 oz Tennessee whiskey
1 oz Pamplemousse liqueur
1 oz Orange-red aperitivo

How to make

Serve in a coupe glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of grapefruit zest twist.

  1. 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

Garnish

  1. 5 EXPRESS grapefruit zest twist over cocktail and use as garnish.

History

Eric Tecosky's original called for 1.25oz Jack Daniel's Single Barrel instead of split whiskies. As a mix of spirits and liqueurs, it was stirred. However, like a Shakerato, this benefits from shaking's aeration and dilution.
