Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Scotch whisky
1/2 oz Honey herbal liqueur
1 1/2 oz Orange juice
1 dash Orange bitters
2 drop Saline solution 4:1
How to make
Serve in a coupe glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method
- 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.
Garnish
- 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Scotch with herbal notes and orange.
This recipe was adapted from a 1981 creation by Charles Schumann in Munich, Germany. The drink is titled SWEET SCIENCE (1981) and calls for: 1½ oz orange juice, ¼–¾ oz Drambuie, 1½ oz Scotch. Shake well over ice cubes in a shaker, strain into a cocktail glass.
