History

Essentially a lemon and honey Daiquiri or a lemon Canchànchara – very tasty.

This drink is based on a recipe found in the 1972 revised edition of Victor Bergeron's Trader Vic's Bartender's Guide. TAHITIAN HONEY BEE ½ ounce lemon juice 1 teaspoon honey 1½ ounces light Puerto Rican rum Combine the lemon juice and honey in a shaker. Add the rum, and shake with ice cubes. After shaking, strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon peel. As a variation, you can increase the amount of rum to 2 ounces and the honey to ¼ ounce.
