Tennessee Berry Mule

Ingredients
8 fresh Raspberries
1 1/2 oz Tennessee whiskey
1 oz Amaretto liqueur
1 1/2 oz Cranberry juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 1/3 oz Ginger beer
How to make
Serve in a collins glass
- 1 MUDDLE raspberries in base of shaker
- 2 Add next four ingredients, SHAKE with ice and strain into ice-filled glass
- 3 TOP with ginger beer, lightly stir and serve with straws.
History
This whiskey cocktail is rich with berry notes, flavored by Amaretto and topped with ginger beer.
Adapted in 2003 from a recipe created by Alex Kammerling for TGI Friday's UK. The name is derived partly from its ingredients and partly as a reference to Jack Daniel's proprietor (and nephew), Lemuel Motlow, who engaged in mule trading during Prohibition.
