Ingredients

1 1/2 oz Bourbon whiskey
3/4 oz Elderflower liqueur
3/4 oz Apple juice
1/2 oz Lime juice
1 oz Soda water

How to make

Serve in a collins glass

Prepare

  1. 1 Select and pre-chill a COLLINS GLASS.
  2. 2 Prepare garnish of apple slice and mint leaf.

Method

  1. 3 SHAKE first 4 ingredients with ice.
  2. 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass.
  3. 5 TOP with soda.

History

Whiskey, elderflower and apple are complemented by citrus.

This is adapted from a 2008 recipe by Vincenzo Marianella at Doheny in Los Angeles, USA. To appeal to a wider audience and in response to a comment, the bourbon was reduced from 60ml to 45ml in January 2021, with 30ml of soda added.
