Ingredients
1 1/2 oz Bourbon whiskey
3/4 oz Gentian liqueur
1/2 oz Amaro (e.g. Nonino)
1/4 oz Licor 43
1 oz Lemon juice
How to make
Serve in a old-fashioned glass
Prepare
- 1 Select and pre-chill an OLD-FASHIONED GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of lemon zest twist.
Method
- 3 SHAKE all ingredients with ice.
- 4 STRAIN into ice-filled glass (preferably a large cube or chunk of block ice).
Garnish
- 5 EXPRESS lemon zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

Juan Meyer created this drink in Norwalk, USA, in 2017. Meyer explained his inspiration, stating, "One of my regulars came in and said he wants a hot toddy, but he wants it not hot, so I reached for the Suze and this is what I made."
