1/2 oz Bénédictine D.O.M.
3 dash Aromatic bitters

Serve in a coupe glass

- 1 Select and pre-chill a COUPE GLASS.
- 2 Prepare garnish of orange zest twist.
Method
- 3 STIR all ingredients with ice.
- 4 FINE STRAIN into chilled glass.

- 5 EXPRESS orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.

This drink is adapted from a 2008 recipe by Rhiannon Enlil at Bar Tonique in New Orleans, USA. It is named after the Median area on Canal Street in New Orleans, which historically served as the dividing line between the American and Spanish/French sectors, an area now recognized as the French Quarter.
